Board Game Wins
2009 Game of the Year Award!

Professional Games, Inc. is pleased to announce that on June 15, 2009, its board game won Creative Child Magazine’s Game of the Year Award in the Family Educational Board Games category.

is unique– it’s the first game for the entire family (and especially ages 8 and up) that teaches in a fun way what it’s really like to be a lawyer and run a small business.

As players move around the board, they set up and run their own law offices.  After first graduating college and law school, they pass the bar, and then bring and defend cases, decide whether or not to appeal and enter into settlements.

Strategic decisions include whether to settle, litigate or later appeal, whether to remain in sole practice or “buy into” a law partnership and when to end the game by reaching the final square, where “Attorney of the Year” is determined.  The game teaches the legal process, and lets players experience many of the issues facing a small business, all using attractive graphics and fun, whimsical legal scenarios.

is already available in prestigious specialty stores, like the U.S. Supreme Court Gift Shop, the National Judicial College, National Constitution Center, Abraham Lincoln Presidential Library and Museum, John Marshall House, and the Children’s Museum of Manhattan.  It can also be found in select college bookstores.
